ABOUT ETERNAL Rot
Eternal rot is something i came up with out of an interest for blastbeats, making clothes, and nerdy hobbies
I started Eternal Rot out of my room and backyard, originally designing 3D printed stencils i could make for me and my friends to make patches and to paint jackets with. ive been doing this for maybe a little less than half a year or so at the time i'm writing this, 10/8/2025. A few months ago i started listing some patches on depop i made, but it wasnt worth the time and effort that i went into them since i was also juggling around school and other hobbies. i thought, "man maybe instead i should just sell the stencils to people, it could help more people get into diy and it would be a lot easier on my part too," so i did.
i listed some on depop and i would get some sales trickle in every now and then. i would get some custom orders but not much. i decided to put some more time and effort into it by making more and more band logos as stencils, and even some designs of my own (many of which are not yet listed on the website, but TRUST ME I HAVE A TON). sales on depop increased and i decided i wanted to take things futher. if i were to make a dedicated website and satrt selling on there, and my instagram page, i could get more people interested.
I built the website and instagram page myself from a computer i built about 6 years ago. withing the first few ddays of it opening, i already got a few sales. that made me really happy, and i know i wanna persist with this for as long as i can until i have my real career. my next goal is to start vending at shows, so someone pretty please hit me up for that.
Since the beginning i always told myself and others that i would prioritize people over profit. I COULD raise my prices, but i choose not to. i find more happiness knowing i can help out my local scene and contribute to making DIY more accessible, with Eternal Rot being a resource for others.
